Work towards your Silver Arts Award with Unit Twenty Three, Park Radio and DissFest’ this April!

So, what’s a Silver Arts Award Qualification?

It’s a Level 2 award in the arts as provided by Trinity College London. Exploring leadership skills, planning and delivery of an arts project and completing arts challenges, you’ll work with arts industry experts to complete your personal journey and gain your qualification. You’ll create your own portfolio of work and get to explore the arts in your area and with other young people too!

Creative Arts Working towards DissFest, a community arts festival in July, you’ll focus on your arts interests in the group to further your skills!

Creative Media & Journalism – Working with Park Radio on their weekly youth show, you’ll learn all about local radio and running your own show!

Interested?

You need to be aged 14-25 to take part, and a young person living in Norfolk. You don’t have to audition and there is no interview process. Just an interest in exploring the creative arts and eager to learn more! To sign up, you’ll need to complete a quick form, which you can download here.

Meetings will start on Wednesday 18th April, 3.30-5.30, Diss Youth and Community Centre. Meetings will take place twice a month up until the end of August.  Moderation of your completed work will take place in September/October 2018.
